Children & Youth

We have a very active ministry for Children as well as a growing Youth program at First Baptist Church.  Children’s weekly activities are designed to help them grow in Christ. Our goal in children’s ministry is to build a solid foundation on Christ that will carry children though the next stages in their lives.

Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6 NIV

Our Youth program, “4Twelve Youth Ministry” strives to introduce the next generation to a living God, connect them to a biblical community, and empower them to live a Christ-centered life.

  • Sundays at 9:15-10:15 a.m. we have Sunday School classes tailored for all ages.
  • During Sunday Worship (after Children’s Moment) we offer Children’s Church for K-3rd grade.
  • Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. as part of Wednesday Night Live! we offer children’s activities for ages PreK-4th while older Youth gather for intentional Christian fellowship.
  • The AB Girls group meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.. AB GIRLS is about building relationships with other girls and adult women, relationships with people in their own communities and around the world.
  • Vacation Bible School is a summer highlight for First Baptist Church.  The entire congregation is involved in raising up the youngest ones, Pre K through 8th graders with Bible-based lessons and activities.
  • Each fall we host a Back-to-School bash.  A carnival atmosphere invites members, friends, and neighbors to celebrate the beginning of a new school year.
